In the presented video, the integration of the AUGUR ART phased array flaw detector manufactured by the ECHOPLUS Research Center and the Universal Robots industrial robot was carried out. With the help of a trunk with six degrees of freedom, the ultrasonic phased array is moved along a given trajectory to ensure the control technique. In this case, the movement in three planes along the tuning sample of the 70 mm thick weld of the NPP steam generator is shown. For monitoring objects such as rails, wheels, gears, in contact and immersion mode, it is optimal to combine a data recording and visualization tool such as AUGUR with a rigidly defined sensor movement program. The characteristic speed of movement is about 20-100 mm/s.
